My Favorite Book
"Harry Potter" is my favorite book. The story is very long, but I am interested in it. Harry is so meaningful that I can learn a lot from it. I think it is the best book I have ever read. The magic and adventure in the story are fascinating, and the characters are very memorable. I like reading it because it is full of science fiction and it is easy to understand. It teaches me to be confident and brave, just like Harry Potter.
Journey to the West
Journey to the West is my favorite novel. I have read it several times. The Monkey King is my favorite character. He is not only聪明 (intelligent) and brave (brave) but also very funny (interesting). He often makes us laugh. The story is about the Monkey King and his friends helping him win every battle. I think all of them are famous heroes. The novel is full of adventure and magic, and it is a great read for anyone who loves fantasy.
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
My favorite great book is "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" by Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer is a lively and clever boy who lives on an island in the middle of the Mississippi River with two friends, Huck and Joe. Together, they go looking for treasure and get lost in a cave. Finally, Tom and Huck find a box of gold. The adventures in the book are so exciting, and the characters are very memorable. I like Mark Twain's writing style because it is so engaging and easy to follow.
Life Story by Helen Keller
One of the books I like best is "Life Story" by Helen Keller. Helen Keller was a blind, deaf, and dumb person who wrote this book in 1902. In the book, she describes her life from the age of one year and seven months, when she first learned to communicate with her teacher, Miss Sullivan. The story is very moving and inspiring. It shows how determined and courageous Helen was in overcoming her challenges. Reading her story teaches me to be resilient and never give up.
To Kill a Mockingbird
"To Kill a Mockingbird" is a classic novel written by Harper Lee, first published in 1960. The book tells the story of a young girl named Scout Finch growing up in the fictional town of Maycomb, Alabama, during the Great Depression. The novel is narrated by Scout herself, and it explores the themes of racism, classism, and gender roles through her eyes as she witnesses the injustice and discrimination in her society. The characters are very memorable, and the story is both powerful and thought-provoking.
